Taking A Stand Against Antisemitism
Antisemitism has no place in LMSD. Unfortunately, we have seen incidents of hate in our schools, and the response has not always been strong enough. I will push for:
Stronger Anti-Hate Policies
LMSD must have clear, enforceable rules against antisemitism and other forms of hate speech.
Accountability & Consequences
Policies must be consistently enforced so antisemitism is met with real consequences.
Safe & Inclusive Schools
Students should feel secure and respected in their learning environment.
Enhancing Special Education
LMSD has some of Pennsylvania’s best special education programs—but many families struggle to access them. I will work to:
Cut Through Bureaucracy
Making special education services easier to access for families who need them.
Expand Resources
Ensuring students get the individualized support they need to succeed.
Advocate for Students & Parents
Parents should not have to fight to get essential services for their children.
Putting Parents & Students First
School board policy should be guided by those they affect most: students and families. That means:
Cultural Change Among Faculty, Staff, and Administration
Promulgating a culture within our schools and within the administration that LMSD needs to do what is best for each student and their families, rather than what is easiest or most convenient for the faculty, staff, and administration.
Listening to Families
Creating more opportunities for parent and student voices to be heard in policy decisions.
Focusing on Student Needs
Ensuring LMSD’s priorities are education, safety, and success, not politics.
